Understanding Sony Vaio Model Numbers

Does anyone understand a lot of Sony Vaio Laptops?

I have a Sony Vaio Laptop and the keyboard was broken. I want to buy a computer laptop parts and do not know if the model numbers have to match exactly. My model is PCG-tr2l. If you know a good place online or stores near Pasco / Pinellas, Florida, then let me know. I'd really like to know about pattern matching. I've seen the laptop, but exactly the same number different model. Let me know. Thanks
