I recently installed Ubuntu along with Vista on my sony vaio. runs and runs, but only a small thing ... I have a wireless card Atheros. i cannot figure how to get it to work. I know I need the driver to madwifi. recognizes the wireless card, but like its not compatible my operating system is limited, without the Internet.

You should be able to connect to the Internet via its Ethernet port, in order to install the necessary drivers.
