How can I speed up my Sony Vaio Vgn-A317S?
My Sony Vaio VGN-A317S is really slow when I go on the internet and stuff. SPECIFICATIONS RAM: 512 MB CPU: Intel Pentium M 750, 1.86GHz Hard Drive: 100 GB OS: Windows XP SP3 Any suggestions please?
Appears to have a very old model, taking into becoming aware that those who from the recovery unit or the disc is the best way forward. If only web browsing and PC is in good condition after PC should be good enough for you. He had used some third party software such as mechanical or Tune Up but basically do things that were already incorporated in windows you can do for yourself as to empty the cache, cookies, error handling and disk defragmentation. But since yours is an old PC I would suggest reformat as the best option.
