Connecting a Sony Vaio Laptop U.S. Internet in Sweden?
Hello, I recently purchased a Sony Vaio laptop in the U.S. and I will take with me to Sweden this summer. The family I stay with two desktops and two laptops, so I'm guessing you have a router. Does a Sony Vaio to connect to the Internet through Scandinavia or if I have to buy some kind of adapter or something? Or do you simply need to connect as wiressly I can do here? Thanks!
You need to check the network adapter for laptop and make sure it would cover both U.S. and European tensions. It is usually in the black box that connects the power cord. It should say something like "Input-240v-100, almost all computers newer laptops have this capability. If it says 110v only, you have to buy a power converter. You can ask at any electronics store for a European adapter, mine looks like this: The Internet http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21MHAV7Z0DL._SL500_AA280_.jpg works the same, you can connect wired or wireless use.
