Sony Vaio Laptop Parts Screen
Broken laptop screen on my Sony Vaio ..?
A friend left my laptop open on the couch and I think a guitar case hit in it. I fired and the team worked, but the screen was dark, the outside was not cracked, but inside you could see where it hit. Me I went and bought another laptop, but now I realized my computer was about a year old, may be worth fixing. I have a new one, but I like so much and two laptops are better than one! My questions are ... (1) Is it possible for the average person who works well with computers to do themselves with adequate supplies? (2) Can this be fixed? (3) Where can I go to fix it without sending it somewhere? (4) About how brilliant runs Sony Vaio laptop screen? ... Thank you! The money part doesn't bother me much, I love the laptop and bought a new model but if it is possible to fix and use, that would be great! I mean dont get me wrong, I love to do it cheaper, the most effective way (thanks for answering)
Please Go to Sony support page and put in your model number and serial number can get the screen number you need. Then goto eBay and search the web and a purchase. I've done it 3 times in gateways, but not a Sony. Not that hard all the time you open the box carefully. But, unfortunately, will not be cheap. Could be as high as 300 or $ 400 .... If you have trouble getting the part number, the easiest thing I can think of is go to the local repair shop and ask for obtain a repair estimate. The paper estimates usually have the part number and price of it.
