Sony Vaio Laptop wireless switch problem?

Hi, I have been using a Sony Vaio laptop about 2-3 years. My laptop has a wireless switch on the side. Recently, however, despite my switch is in the 'on' position, the wireless Internet suddenly disconnected. I have to push the switch to the 'on' side to connect again, but when I release my hand, disconnects. This does not happen all time, but it's frustrating for me. I checked my wireless Internet router, and works perfectly fine without escape from it all. My laptop is not beaten or broken in any way, so have no idea of how the radio can be disconnected. Any help is appreciated, Thanks in advance!
