Sony Vaio Wireless Lan Pc Card

Sony Vaio Wireless Lan Pc Card

The Sony VAIO M1 (VGCM1) PC: Why have 2 network adapters? "Well connect online wirelessly?

I chose one of these computers. It works very well and is very compact. However, I realize I can not connect online with any network cards. 1 card seems to be wireless (Adapter 1394) and appears to be connected, but when I try to repair, that tells me TCP / IP is not enabled. There is also a LAN adapter which may indicate that is not supposed to go online through mobile phones? Any ideas out there? I'm thinking of restoring the system as a year or so ago?

1394 shows how a network adapter but is not one. It is actually a FireWire connection. The LAN is the one you need to focus. The Internet means that part is connecting your local computer to a cable or wireless modem, which then will go on the Internet. So, while LAN is said they go online when the installation correctly. This is not the technically correct way to explain this, but I hope you get the point across.
