How do I get wireless on my sony vaio?

Well, I had Vista on my computer and recently removed and put in XP. When I arrived XP I couldnt connect to the Internet at all, but now I can but only through a wired Ethernet connection. I need help finding a way for me to connect to wireless. ive downloaded all the drivers you need and still nothing happens. plz help!

While sometimes the problem is only a laptop button tha used to disable the wireless antenna ... Have you tried this? You should also check if the Wireless icon in the corner right at the end you should go to: click right on my motor fuels Manager icon properties of hardware devices and network adapters tab, check whether your adapter is installed and enabled, it should be something like Intel 3945ABG, etc.
