Macbook or Sony VIAO?

I just bought a Sony VIAO but im contemplating the possibility of replacing it with a MacBook that is several hundred more expensive. I Sony VAIO 14 "Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2GHz Laptop (VPCCW17FDW) - White and I get the Apple MacBook Pro 13.3" Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26GHz Laptop - English. Im wondering if its worth throwing 2 GB of RAM on Sony because the MacBook only has 2 GB of RAM. ps. MacBook can play recordable DVDs and CDs without a license?

Depends on what you want from a computer. Macs are better at some things, and PCs to others. If you like games, go for PC if you like surfing the web at peace, free of viruses or spam, then Mac is better. If you do not mind paying for quality, you could not go past a Mac. The Sony is a big team, and has the best hardware value, however, Mac does have a better operating system and can run Windows anyway. Depends on what you prefer. I would not trade it with the MacBook without going to a store Apple first and take a look and compare what you do with the two teams. Furthermore, Finally, yes, the Mac with ease, you can play DVDs and CDs without a license.
