Laptop Video Card for WoW?
WoW player over 2 years. recently got a laptop, installed wow, the whole 9 yards. everything installed fine, charge, etc., to or to start walking in the game, then the blink black screen with a msg in the end view of the bar task. systemrequirementslab.com went and tested my laptop, a Sony VAIO with Vista. everything that happens, but the video card. my video RAM and 3D accelerator past, but the lighting and HW transform not for me. on my laptop brand video card is Intel (R) 945GM Express Chipset Family. Is there anyway at all to improve this without having my laptop as well as installing a card, or send my laptop off. I download an update, etc? I need my dose of WoW, lol .. plz help
Pardon The problem with laptops is that they are stuck with what you have. The video card is integrated into the motherboard so the only way to upgrade video card would replace the motherboard. Your laptop is not enough to run WoW. My advice, if you are planning on using the computer for games would be to return the laptop and get a desk. Or just go out and buy a desktop computer.
