Compatible processor?
My family has a Sony Vaio Vgc-rb40, with an Intel Pentium D 3.0 GHz, 1 GB of RAM. I want a processor that is responsible for games, (ie, Assassin's Creed). The minimum requirement is a Pentium D Dual Core, 2.6 Ghz. Is it worth buying a new processor or get a computer with this one?
computer games based on the graphics card. so much so that when comparing two systems with the lower end with a better graphics card, the far more under play much better and beat the high end. The game is 80% is based on the graphics card. I would not worry so much that the processor or RAM, but the card. looking at his system, I see you have a free PCI slot express card for that.
