How to reformat the premium Windows Vista to XP to install? Slowere that Vista is XP.
Hello! I recently bought new notebook Sony Vaio Laptop 1.60 Dual Core 1GB of RAM and 120 G hard drive with window edition of Windows Vista Home Premium, but is very slow even on 1GB of memory. Also, do not need a lot of trash program window vista, hunting and the media stuff. I have removed many programs, and yet not more fast. Instead of upgrading to 2 GB Ram, I want to install XP Home or Professional. Guide is displayed in the help and support I have to format version of the system XP operating. I am no expert. Is there someone there who knows how to do it by myself instead of going to the repair shop?
if you are sure to change XP to do 1. Insert Windows XP bootable CD into the system and reboot UR 2. if ur not sure if it is the default boot CD to do this as soon as the system reboots for the button u shud you press to enter setup (usually F2, or the F8) go to start and change the boot sequence to have CD / DVD as first boot save the configuration of the Uruguay Round and exit 3. Since then, the CD track or installed on the same drive as the view. Delete it and then reassign the drive if you end up having both Vista and XP last message back good luck
