Sony Vaio Tv Tuner Problems

From PC to plasma problems ...?

I'm trying to connect my PC to my plasma TV for use as a second monitor .... I have a Sony Vaio that I use for editing video, 3D animation and gaming. It connects to my current monitor through a DVI-D and 15 high definition connection. I have a card TV tuner to watch TV on my current monitor. I know how to connect the PC to the TV to watch TV, but I want to do is to use plasma as a monitor to see my desktop ... It's not as simple as connecting the SVideo or component cables ... because I tried and failed. Do I need a PC to TV HD converter or there is another method that I am unaware? No. ... I can not connect the PC to Plasma via DVI ... no DVI input on my TV.

you must use the DVI to connect to DVI on your TV in order to use as a monitor. that is the only way.
