Laptop / Vista?
I'm going to buy a laptop in January or February. I was thinking about the Sony Vaio S Series, but question the Vaio, in general, how are you? If not, what brand do you recommend? I am looking for a multimedia notebook, which I will be able to watch and record TV / DVD and such. About Windows Vista. Should I get one with XP, then upgrade to Vista if I choose, or wait for one with Vista installed, to ensure that it has all the componets nessicarey to use the new features. I am willing to spend up to $ 1500.
I'd say get an XPS (or Dell Inspiron). If you wait a bit then it could be sold with Windows Vista installed in it.
