Sony Vaio Touchpad Software
Sony Vaio Touchpad Software
How can I permanently remove my driver control panel?
So I'm trying to get rid of my touchpad completely and dispose of holding my hands in an awkward position to keep from brushing against him as I write. Because I do not use my USB mouse. The problem is when I uninstall the driver and restart the computer I just get this message "Found new hardware" and "Hardware ready to use. I have a Sony Vaio, but once formatted the drive, so there is no Sony software on it, if that matters at all. I am also using Windows 7 Build 7077 if it serves consolation. Any ideas? Well, I can not find anyway to disable the touchpad, which is not in the control panel> hardware, only my USB mouse sample. I'm pretty sure that is the result of formatting the hard drive like most Google searches gave me a way to diable through a program for the Sony Vaio. Perhaps there is a registry key I can delete?
Why not make it easier on yourself and just disable the touch pad instead of unistalling the driver. You will find this much easier. The touch pad will keep reinstalling itself, as it assumes that you have accidentally uninstalled.
