Advanced Power Management Not after reinstalling XP on my Sony Vaio?
OK, I did a fresh install of XP on a new hard disk on my Sony Vaio (model VGN-SZ120p). I downloaded EVERY driver available on the Sony support site and installed them, but I still have a device manager devices with an exclamation point appears as "system device." Also, I have no sense of APM, does not include a wait function without meter the battery and when I shut me "Its now safe to turn your computer" instead of powering off. I know this is ACPI compliant and I guess "device another system "has somethign to do with ACPI. What the hell am I missing?
