How can I get Sony to honor the warranty on my VAIO?
This is my third (and now last) VAIO I own will! The first two were incredible machines. This VAIO SZ series is less than 1 year old! Traveled less. Crack under plastic on the face (was told by Sony does not fix it called it "normal wear and tear"), now when I send to be repaired in the dead battery and the cooling fan replaced DEAD, I say do not fix it, which is out of warranty by the plastic cracked! They kept the team for three weeks and finally came back to me UNREPAIRD! Any help would be much appreciated! It seems to be at an impasse. They will not fix this machine, and new cost me $ 2200. I buy another laptop, but allowing them not to stand behind its warranty. I understand that this is a "violation of Security" and want to know what to do.
file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to one. It is possible that may be of some help. Also, try to get someone at level 2 or higher support on the phone to Sony and really explain your problem (s) and issues. If not give or offer assistance to make things right to their ability to buy a different laptop in all this the next time a buyer beware sense.
