Want to buy best laptop with low weight and small screen?

I was impressed with the quality of Toshiba and my obligation matches TOSHIBA U200. I like small SONAY VAIO notebooks for their style, but fear if they are good for the long term performance and stuff. I like Dell XPS due to its configuration CORE DUO are more like small 12-inch screen ... I'm looking laptop with DVD burner, card reader, all packaged in small units not bulky and heavy, but must be durable as well. I know your asking too much, but please, help me. What this should be better if I worry about the "quality, performance and small size. Of course no matter the cost so it may be that Sony could not fit here. Also guide me where exactly are your models Cheap recommended. I am in Kuwait and can buy things from UK or U.S. Amazon through these installations.
