Why Sony Vaio Laptops tend to be more expensive than their competitors?

I wonder if it's worth the premium. Is the screen LCD? Robustness? Style?

Its more or less the name. Sony occasionally INTEGRATED parties well in their machines, but in general are no better than all other markets portable mass consumer level. Although I will give them the new 13in lappy they did with the carbon fiber body is very nice ... I hope that many of the manufacturers see this and start making more laptops in carbon fiber. So remember Vaio = price of raw computer (not necessarily the premium), but they must win money somehow, since they are losing their butts in undervalued PS3:)
