My dad's Sony Vaio is running slow I have a question about Windows licensing?
Centrino Duo is portable, but is acting like a Pentium 3, I cleared the files in the 'Trash', including invalid registry entries. my father bought online, pre-installed with editing Windows Media Center, the best solution for me is a clean installation of Windows; What I want to do is get the real cd-key "and use a copy of "pirate" of Windows and use the key for installation, Microsoft will allow this? or any other legal problem? Shop online or even provide a driver CD which is my 2nd problem
The Sony Vaio should have the recovery directory. Otherwise, e-mail from Sony and provide the product serial number. They will send a set of recovery discs. Microsoft will not allow the pirated software to register your site.
