How accurate is the estimated shipping date for a SonyStyle.com Sony Vaio SR?

I ordered the laptop, measured order (CTO) last Monday and estimated the ship date was posted as 07/28/2008. When I access the website says still processing. The other items I ordered with the laptop, shipped on time and received last week. I've read forums where people have difficulty receiving things from Sony and was curious if anyone has had a problem with custom Vaio reception in time. The situation has been updated to "His VAIO is being built." This was updated on Tuesday, July 30th. I also called their customer service and do not foresee any problem with the product and insisted that he was in the shop of his departure. From what I read, they like to tell customers that delivery is imminent. If the state does not update by tomorrow afternoon, he is likely to call again for sure that all is well.

Checking your current status. You can be the building. SR asked 2 days was released, 7/16/08 and ends up reporting being built today. I also have an estimated date of 7 / 28, so that your date is obviously not accurate. Expect to get some time next week. Generally takes 24-48 hours to build a couple of days after ship, depending on where you live. They build models CTO at San Diego, CA. It takes 2-3 days to deliver to Oakland CA. UPDATE: 7/31/2008 The CTO previous orders have been shipped. At least mine and yours!
