Sony VAIO vs. Macbook Pro?
Here's my question: I am a 16 years who uses his computer for school, surfing the Internet, video editing Full HD programming in C + + and Java soon. I wanted to hear peoples opinions on which team to go with. These are the two I'm thinking .... Sony VAIO Series F-Intel ® Quad-820QM Core ™ i7 processor (1.73GHz) with Turbo Boost up 3.06GH-Microsoft Windows ® Home Premium 7-Black-8GB 1333MHz DDR3-SDRAM-2x4GB-256GB Solid State Drive-Blu-ray Disc ™ Read and Write Drive -16.4 "VAIO Premium Display (1920x1080) NVIDIA ® GeForce ® 330M GT GPU (1GB VRAM)-Full keyboard with backlight Keypad TOTAL COST: $ 2206.79 or MacBook Pro 15 "- 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - OS X Snow Leopard - 8GB 1066 DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB - 256GB solid state drive - SuperDrive 8x (DVD ± R DL / DVD ± RW / CD-RW) - MacBook Pro 15-inch glossy widescreen display - Backlit keypad TOTAL COST: $ 3849.00 Please Leave your comments! Thanks:)
The thing to remember is, Mac is not the same as Sony, though you pay $ 1600 more, you get a different type of equipment for the money. Video Full HD video editing programs on PC is as good as it is in Windows, and writing in Xcode (C + + on a Mac) and Java is identical throughout platiforms. I'd say the Mac, simply because I believe every person should try one just once in their life, because really the only way to compare a Mac Win Second, the Mac has similar specifications, but Snow Leopard is much more efficient use of resources than Windows, and it may be easier to use and less prone to mismanagement and infections.
