What is the best business laptop?

I am buying a laptop for college tomorrow and wondering which one I should buy. Ok here are two options: Dell Studio (Caro 50 $) More than 4 GB of RAM 320GB HDD 2.1GHz processor screen or 6.1 pounds 15.4 inch Sony Vaio Vgn Nr 3Gb 250Gb RAM Hard Drive 2.0 GHz processor 6.3 lbs 15.4 inch screen What is the best laptop, everything we know about them and only their opinions would much appreciated

The Dell Studio line is a fairly new line of notebooks from Dell. Thus reliability of data on them is limited .. However, computers Studio notebooks are essentially the same components as the other laptops from Dell, so I can not see what are junky and unreliable. Sony Vaio line has long existed, although it is constantly updated or upgraded to accommodate new technologies. Both companies have good reputations.
