HELP porfa! I am looking for a laptop mainly for gaming and HD compatible for entertainment.?

At the moment im looking at the Sony VAIO FZ SERIES and ASUS G1 SERIES. Both have their pros. and cons. VAIO Specifications: * Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2Ghz * 2GB of RAM X * Blue-Ray Disk Drive 200 GB HDD with 4200RPM * 15.4 'Black Screen (WXGA) Nvidia Geforce 8400 GT 256MB ASUS Specifications: * Intel Core 2 Duo Santa Rosa 2.2GHz Processor * 2GB RAM * DVD Super Multi Color LightScribe * 160GB 5400RPM * 15.4 'Shine (WSXGA) Nvidia 256MB GeForce 8600M Basically I need a laptop that has both the Santa Rosa processor and 256 8600 (or higher) graphics card. It cost me around £ 1000 - £ 1500. Could anyone help me decide between these 2 or other portable advise me?

Of the two the Asus would be the best ... mostly. The VAIO has a Blueray DVD is a pretty face, add in a large high-Def movies. That is their saving feature, but the high-definition standard has become "standard" yet, so wait before investing in the disc (and units can be changed in the Portable below). * The ASUS has a faster processor * ASUS has a smaller unit but higher RPM to better respond when games * The Asus has the chip 8600, exceeding the 8400 (yes the 8400 is the 8400GT better but still significantly slower in the 8600M games) .. both Support chips High Def DVD decoding for movies that are good. If I were to suggest another one (and I'm looking at myself) I would look at the Dell 1520. You can set yourself http://configure.euro.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?b=&c=uk&cs=ukepp1&kc=N4XENT03&l=en&oc=N0715205&rbc=N0715205&s=dhs & ~ Ck = expbuy3 And with a Core 2 Duo 2GB RAM DVD Drive 8600GT video card 160 GB 7200 RPM Drive (even faster than before), still occurs in approximately L1100 Samsung also makes Santa Rosa / Nvidia 8400 laptop but not available here in Canada, so I can not say much about
