Sony Vaio Safe Mode Startup

custom boot computer tried to reinstall, all you have to do?

I have a Sony Vaio Vgn-mail n250 notebook with Windows Vista, some time the team left to start, I couldnt even boot into safe mode and got the error missing Bootmgr for a while. I tried using Repair Starting in the recovery disks, nothing. I tried reinstalling Windows Vista, and it seems that the charger from the computer, but it always goes black and just reboot. Is there anything else with the recovery disks I could do to run Vista? Or is my drive and I only shot enough to get a new one and reinstall that. My notebooks under warranty, but I do not think he has the receipt can use only the date on which they are registered or anal about the service? Thank you!

Re-boot into Safe Mode: This can be achieved by continuously pressing F8 during the boot sequence. You should now see the option to boot your system to the latest Known Good Configuration - Select this and if it works - fine. Assuming the above is not possible that the boot sector or boot files on the hard disk is damaged. You can try a solution through the boot of his "recovery CD" and follow the instructions in 'repair'. If and when the repair get finished the C: prompt. Now type chkdsk / r (NOT chkdsk / r but chkdsk space / r) and press Return (enter). This means run a program called check disk and repair the defects of the hard drive. Now I'll assume that your Windows Loader file is corrupt and this is what is causing problems. First you need to have your system C sitting in the root directory of your hard drive. This can be achieved by typing cd c: I need to change the name of your file writing ntldr.old manager corrupt ntldr s - Did you get an error message? If so, could not be in the root directory to try cd C: WINDOWS new and then rename the file NTLDR. Now copy your good original loader file recovery CD and put it back in the root directory of your hard drive. For this exercise, I will assume that your CD drive is drive D but it could be drive E or F to replace the D in my instructions with your own CD drive letter. Here goes: Copy D: i386 ntldr c: In English - Copy SPACE D: i386 ntldr SPACE c: - which now must be able to re-boot. WDW
