Pop-up window says "Insert disk recovery" takes place after formatting?
I have a Sony Vaio Vgc-RB53 PC had a virus and that my friend fixed using a recovery disc from Sony and finally reformatting prior to XP Professional Home Edition. However, every time I start my PC into a pop-up window that says "Insert disk recovery. Despite a click "cancel" or "ok" I think work is not normal. Of Otherwise, the system works well. Please help. Thank you very much!
Usually this happens after a reinstall for the first half dozen - dozen boots until Windows finishes installing all the drivers one at a time. Place the disc in the increasingly requesting that at least sometimes. If it continues to call after that, your friend will need to make a recovery disk image on your hard drive (you can even have to use it to make a recovery partition) and Windows point directory default install to the image or partition using regedit ..
