My monitor shows "no input signal" after installing new graphics cards.?
ok this is my problem ... I have a Sony Vaio Vgc-RB52 PC and just recently purchased a new graphics card. its a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS SILENT ASUS PCI-Express 2.0 CARD. I installed in the PCI-E x16 Then turn on the PC ... The draft starts normal, but my usual nothing except monitor that says "No signal input" .. IAM so confused I'm doing something wrong???? Please, any help would be good ..
Check your BIOS settings, especially the setting in the graphics card. Choose PCI Express graphics (PEG) as a priority graphs. Make sure you get the OK signal only at startup. If there is no sound, PC is not really the start. You may have loosened a connector to the motherboard. If you get multiple beeps (error) Try reseating the card in its slot. Once you start your PC and displays the desktop, install the driver for 8400.
