Sony Vaio Rb30 Specs

What kind of video card or RAM is adequate for my computer?

I have a Sony Vaio Vgc-RB30. The specifications are in this link (they do not know what exactly to the list): http://www.superwarehouse.com/Sony_VAIO_RB30C/VGC-RB30/ps/471790 have told me that I have a PCI Express slot free where you can add a video card. What type or brand of video card should I buy and what series? I've heard all the cards from NVIDIA, but I do not know what series or know of other brands. Similarly, there are specific brands of RAM that are more reliable / the brand work better than not? Does RAM come in kits, separately or both? For video cards, I'm looking for nothing more than maybe $ 150.00 and for the RAM, probably no more than $ 100.00. Also, and my glasses, what should I know about upgrading video cards and RAM, not to kill my computer? What I will use for the update of these is to play online games (ie World of Warcraft), so it would be great if someone can elaborate on my needs. Thank you very much and I hope that all answers!

for RAM, which is also known as system memory, go to crucial.com and do a system scan. They will tell you what kind, and you can buy directly from them for good prices. The crucial website will tell you if you have to remove some RAM. Sometimes you have to do this because RAM should work in certain configurations. The website will give you the best recommended settings. There are many online tutorials for installing RAM. Just remove the old and new and insert. Sure that its all the way if it takes at least 20 pounds of pressure ... the two clips on each side should be click above. Installing RAM is easy, simply do not feel overwhelmed. It will cost much less than $ 100 With regard to video cards, you can buy a pretty nice within your price range. I purchased an Nvidia GeForce GT 7300 AGP for under $ 150. Basically, the higher the number (for me, 7300), the better. The current highest is 8800, but definitely do not need that. I recommend going to a store that sells (I got mine at CompUSA, but its dead .... I believe that BestBuy sells any computer shop for that matter) and telling them what type of games that will be playing and that will direct you to their best interests. World of Warcraft is not that graphically intensive, so I do not think you need more than 7300. ... Also, if you want the system information, download AIDA32. It is a free program that tells you everything about your computer. Its really great. Good luck!
