What is a good flavor of Linux for PCs "old"?

Sony VAIO Specifications here: http://www.docs.sony.com/release/specs/PCVL640_mksp.pdf I upgraded to 256 MB of RAM (only change) Puppy Linux installation / commissioning of the problems of slow Ubuntu / Xubuntu SLOW unusable just want to browse the web, watch youtube and type documents. I also want to use the APT (Debian). I need one that is easy to use. (I'm text-phobic) How Fluxbuntu is like going to run?
