Will my PSU I have a 295 W PSU and just bought a video card that requires 300 W.?
Hi just bought a PNY GeForce 8500GT video card from amazon.com, for only $ 50. I just realized that the power required to run this card is 300 W and mine is only 295 w. (using a Sony VAIO PCV-rs720g) Will my PSU at all? Will my card? answers are very aprecciated because I ordered it. THANKS
yes it will be fine, the maximum power draw of the two versions of the 8500GT (PCI and PCI Express) is 40W which is very little, when it says 300w it really means the amount of energy needed to run the card with a system that can operate without a release that
