Do I have to use the same RAM in my computer is using now?

I have a Sony VAIO PCV-RS410 desktop PC. I had to change the memory, so I did some online research the type of RAM you need. It says I need "64x64-266MHz DDR266 PC2100, 184p DIMM, 2.5v, Sync, CL = 2.5" RAM. FutureShop I looked, but I see nothing that matches the decription. I see that says "1GB DDR 400 184-pin PC3200. Should I go to I see in FutureShop, or dangerous? Thanks for the help.

Yes, you should use a PC2100 memory card. Go to loaptops making your website and see if there are any other cards that are compatible. Open the case of the PC and see what kind of RAM your computer has intalled now. Make sure you get the right density as it is low and high density RAM memory cards. Do not just to obtain any RAM
