Sony Vaio aaaaah!?
A couple of years ago, I bought Sony Vaio PCG-TR3AP. It worked fine until about 7 months later. I turned it off and the next day when I returned to it, will not turn. I press the power button and the lights flicker in the background. It seems that the keyboard is on but the screen remains completely blank, everything is black. It has been like this for a year and a half. Sony said it would take another $ 700 to fix it! I do not want to pay 700 dollars for a laptop I paid 2000 for. Is there any way to fix it? I can hear the laptop and the hum of the fan in coming but that is the only activity detected. I looked at my problem, but I have millions of different answers. Some say the LCD breaks, others say it has something to do with the memory chip, others say that the fan is broken and the CPU is fried. Please help!
I suggest you take it to a repair shop laptop for an accurate diagnosis and estimation of costs, so you know what's really wrong with it and it is better to choose what to do. There are multiple options for to what may be wrong, a CPU fried to a loose cable. My Notebook Vaio had repeated problems with the fan, but did not prevent the display shows. And we recommend using the Sony repair service - not mine I got back from a warranty repair for 4 months (long enough for the warranty to expire so can refuse to repair it again although it has not fixed the first time). I'm using a Toshiba laptop right now ... Vaio laptop sits next to our Vaio desktop computer broken, waiting to be shattered by the parties. Our new Gateway desktop will arrive in two days. I'm sure you noticed that we do not buy Vaio again
