My Sony Vaio repeatedly going to the recovery screen error when booting Windows. I DO NOT have the installation disk?
I have a laptop Sony Vaio PCG-7Y2L Windows Vista operating model. When I turn on my PC does not start normally, goes to the screen Windows error recovery. When I click Start Windows restarts normally and does the same. I tried to restart using all the page options (boot in safe mode, start using the last configuration Known Good, etc), but repeatedly going to this page. I have the installation disk because the PC I was given as a gift. From this point I do not know what to do and need help. Please help! I tried to download a recovery disc from this site: The disk http://neosmart.net/blog/2008/windows-vista-recovery-disc-download/ did not work. It could not be used because 64-bit was not compatible with my existing CPU. (which I think is dual core) Any and all help and advice will be appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE
Well you can try at the official Sony website, the recovery CD that you think you can download it from there, but check it out, The second thing to try is to borrow from someone, or download a Windows Vista installation disc and launch the Sony with the Windows Vista DVD, and you should get option to repair windows. It is quite easy and there is minimal risk that something goes wrong. The repair of view is easy. That should do the trick. But if you virus has some bad-ass in the full format is always an option. I think you should test the recovery procedure. If you need a little more help with The Windows Vista DVD or repair instructions. just ask;)
