the battery indicator on my Sony VAIO notebook appears and disappears when it feels when you sit?
when i boot my laptop Sony VGN-fs315e sometimes the battery indicator in the taskbar does appear, if i restart, the indicator appears. If I reboot again, the indicator disappears. Ive expanded the taskbar, I've even customized the properties of the taskbar to always show, but still misbehaves.
I have a Sony Vaio, but also the mine does not misbehave like yours. Is yours still under warranty? If so, tell your Sony dealer and see what they say. That might be able to fix it. There was only a thought, have you tried right-clicking on the taskbar? There is an option called "Lock the Taskbar" and for me that is checked. That might help.
