What is the cause of my Sony Vaio monitor to flicker and then go?
Is it a bad connection somewhere? How do I fix? Is it expensive? It is connected properly at all crossings. I'm not using the battery. There is a general fluorescent light. You should try the computer in a different room to see if this is a problem.
There are a few things that can make a laptop screen flicker. Are you running near fluorescent lights or a power box, like a breaker box? Magnetic flux can affect the display. Other than that, you can have a loose connection, or a bad wire / video card. That costs a fortune. Also, make sure it is not easy as the computer power (plugged into the wall, or is the battery died?).
