How can I restore a model of Sony Vaio Vgn-FS with a loss of FS38GP logon password for Windows and not recovery disc?
HELP! N recovery disc and this is a Windows logon password lost not a BIOS password. Dont talk to suggest SONY.
Well most laptops come with a capacity of resotre. Generally, F11 or F12. but if this does not help to try F8 to display COMAND boot list, boot into safe mode, so you can skip the reqirements log in. while making a new account and give administrative privlages. then Oyu restart the computer and see if you can access your new account then try to delete the old account. Abel could not be done with the password, but worth a try. If you can not do this, go to the Microsoft Web site and request a free copy of Vista 64-bit. the reaosn is free is because all our operating systems to Vista was a 32nit and microsft had to offer a 64-bit version so now then they will send a new disc for $ 10 shipping. just do a search on your site for 32-bit to 64 bit Vista Upgrade. after a little searching can find the application page. When the disc arive just slip in, and use the keycode in the bottom of the laptop to install a fresh copy of Windows makesure do a quick format. This way yopu end with a new system and installation oeprating new, not a bad idea. In a different team, need to go to Sony's website and download the drivers for your laptop and save to a thumb drive then load drivers on the laptop. canhave this way you sound, better graphics and the internet oooo.
