Sony Vaio Model Pcg-7133l
I want to restore my Sony Vaio model PCG-7133L to factory settings.?
I have this computer about six months ago, have been diagnosed with a disease terminal (it's cool, I'm fine with it). In any case I want to make this laptop to my niece, but he wants clarified the configuration of the first factory. Have Vista Home Premium if it makes any difference. I do not think that comes with the software. I do not care to save anything. Does anyone know if possible and if so how. Thank you.
It is ok if it comes with cd's, you should have a recovery partition on it which would have made the CD / DVD, but, since being able to access the desktop and everything. I'm going to take steps to restore law system through the program. Click start, all programs, system recovery 1. Connect the PC to the AC adapter. (Make sure AC power to do this and not the battery) 2. Close all programs. 3. Click Start, click All Programs, select System Recovery, and click PC Recovery. 4. When presenting the recovery options, select the option to make recovery PC and click Next. 5. The computer restarts. 6. When the Welcome to PC screens recall message, click OK to continue. 7. In recovery the system, select System Recovery Panel. By default, the system will perform a full format and will destroy all user data. 8. Restart the computer when prompted. As an alternative to the previous steps, click Advanced and select destructive recovery, click Next to start the reformatting process. The PC is in original factory condition and all system data, such as location and date must be reconfigured. Note: This should not take much time, as I did for my sister was over an hour. Now after restoring the laptop back to factory settings, still needs be able to create recovery CD / DVD, if desired. If you do here are the steps to do so. 1. Again make sure the laptop is connected to AC 2. Click Start, click All Programs, select System Recovery, and click Create Recovery Discs. The recovery disk PC Creator utility displays a message indicating the type and number of media disks required. 3. Verify the required number of disks available media. 4. Click Next to start the actual backup process. Remove written disk and insert additional disks when prompted. 5. Label each disk in the sequence that was created, as prompted. 6. Save the newly created set of recovery disks in a safe place. This process should only take 1hr-2 1 / 2 hours Note: This process can only done once. If the CDs are becoming lost or damaged. The production had to be called to the recovery disc replacements. If you need help, let me know.
