Sony Vaio purchase?
Hey guys, I have another opinion. I have a friend who is selling his Sony Vaio because during his college career, not he has enough money on a MacBook Pro that he needs for architecture. He bought the laptop from NY, there is no guarantee of $ 1,000 before taxes and is now selling. I do not know much about the details, but he says he can play the games he himself, as fear 2, Fallout 3 on high settings. He's selling to me for under $ 600 and I need a laptop for college. My budget is low and I was wondering if it's worth buying a laptop as well. Also note, has been used for 8-9 months and has Windows XP Media Center Edition x64, 2 GB of RAM, 7 or 8 series Nvidia graphics card ... I need this even if you warranty? or should I buy online with the guarantee and get crappy default Vista Home Premium I've come to hate because of their buginess. Thanks for responding.
I has a Vaio and I like (I'm also a student of architecture). However, after a month of buying my Vaio, there was a big problem with the computer and all was because my warranty that I was able to get it fixed for free. I think my case is rare and happens rarely. If you like everything about your friend's computer I say get it, because you can not find another laptop with similar features for $ 600, maybe not a lease Vaio. But look around, there have been other models out recently a good price.
