Sony Vaio Vgc - VS LM1E Apple iMac?

I am thinking of buying a new computer. I like the Sony VAIO VGC - LM1E but the iMac looks good, I can not deciede!

A quick look at the specifications, both hardware are comparable, and I understand the difficulty in deciding on each other. However, I think the decision should based more on how you will use it and what most of their daily tasks are. Mac has been able to work better in multi-media, photo ie / video editing, electronic publishing and multimedia related to art. Because of its transition to a system based on Unix, has been gaining popularity among programmers as well. Sony for one, can only run either the Microsoft operating system or Linux. While both operating systems have been highly application there you can use, it comes down to what you are familiar with. If you have other Sony hardware as, video camera, digital camera, you can be sure this team will work fine with them. And there are slot for Memory Stick MS. And one last thing, if you're a player, make sure the game would be compatible Then with Mac .. again, you can always install XP / Vista on an iMac (which is sometimes defeats the purpose of having a Mac, for starters.)
