Sony Vaio Laptop Case 17
Can I use my laptop without internal HD?
My Sony Vaio Vgn-A197VP laptop can not boot (even the BIOS does not recognize the HD). I managed disassemple for the laptop and remove the HD, put it in a USB box and back up my files, so that the disc works well and seems to be a driver problem motherboard. As the cost of replacing the motherboard is about € 900, I wonder if a solution is to continue to use my laptop with an external drive I already have. The laptop is 3-4 years old, but has 2GB of RAM, 17 fabulous "watch and do not want to throw away, but the prize of the setting, is very high (I can not find a better laptop to buy with that money ...). What would you do for me?
