I have serious problems with my Sony Vaio Laptop, SONY someone please help?

I bought new Sony Vaio Vgn-SZ58GN / C LAPTOP. From the first day it started to hang up and your speed is painfully slow. Some people felt that the Windows Vista operating system is to blame. I paid a fortune for this laptop and I am not being able to use it. the types of services are not being helpful either. I bought this laptop in the city of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia authorized Sony dealer.

If Sony service people are not useful or can not solve the problem, I think I returned to the store where I bought it and either request a replacement or my money back.
