My Laptop AC adapter is not working now?
hello i own a Sony Vaio Vgn-bx540bw and the AC adapter stopped working. how do I know? every time you connect to an outlet, the green light is supposed to come in Time doesn't. The other day I was in Turkey Istanbul and its voltage is different voltage here in California I used the converter and there is a switch that turns any 50V or 1600V. I guess I accidentally left at 1600V, and says on the converter if you use the wrong voltage may damage equipment. Then switched back to 50V, so I thought I broke my charger, however, tried to 1600V and put in the charger for the camera and then switched back to 50v and it worked very well Does anyone know if there's anyway to fix this? would be much appreciated
Is this system under warranty? If so call the manufacturer for replacement. Especially since you have no light what-so-ever in the magazine itself. Other Wise should offer a parts replacement program where you can buy a charger
