u can help me find a good laptop?

I have HP Pavilion, and lately I've discovered he has a problem with the motherboard! : (Anyways im lookin for a good, not too expinsive (1000 $ or less) portable. I heard sony vaio is good, but still need your advice, I would buy it and take it away from AZ Israel.
