I was thinking about getting a Sony Vaio Laptop with an Intel Pentium T4300. Also with 4GB RAM and a Blu-ray. I wondered what the difference between the Pentium processor and an Intel Core 2 Duo are? Is it really worth the worth spending an extra $ 50 + for the Core 2 Duo? Also, how Blu-ray will be playing in the Pentium? In addition, the T4300 Pentium is 2.1Ghz/800 Mhz Core 2 Duo is 2.2Ghz/800 Mhz
The Core 2 Duo is worth the extra $ 50. While it would normally go with the Pentium, technology laptop is always growing, and in a year or so a Pentium will be worthless.
