Pentium D 820 very high fan, any suggestions?
Recentely I bought a Sony Vaio desktop with a Pentium D 820 and Intel MoBo. The fan / Heat sink is very high and the gears constantly recreating a buzz as noise. It's annoying, and wondering if anyone else delt with this and knows a solution. The temperature of my CPU is usually around 58C when playing music and other things. Could use a 3-pin fan and not deal with the management system heat? Is it possible? Any suggestion to make, is too high to work with. Thanks in advance .... Phil
