Sony VAIO or Apple MacBook? NEED HELP!?

Need help deciding between the Sony Vaio Laptop or an Apple MacBook? I'm a college student. is stored lots of photos, music and movies. I do not rlly play. Basically what I need for schoolwork. And please let me know all the cons No professionals. Ive never used Mac before .. so you dont have any idea of comparing to Windows. 1 question more .. Sony VAIO is more scalable if you are a player. Mac usually are for the means of production and are generally good at keeping viruses out. Macs can also run Windows Vista. Personally, I would go with the Mac Book Pro
