Recommendations laptop ...?

I will buy a laptop here shortly and I do not know what to get. I am willing to pay $ 2000. Need something for my music (iTunes), photos, internet and Sims2 game. That's really all for now. I was looking at Sony Vaio, Apple iBook, or a Dell XPS. What recommedations can you give me? Thanx! ASUS Many of you are recommending. I searched Google and only get a website in the UK. How do I buy?

I would recommend ASUS laptops. I built mine on a ASUS bare bones, but also ASUS has pre-built systems. They are attractive, have very strong is based, and are generally more powerful than the average beast. Mine is an ASUS S96J. You can get the pre-configured in such a place I personally http://www.gentechpc.com to buy my processor, memory, DVD recorder, etc and put myself in the S96J barebones and amounted to about $ 1100. He will be having a game like the Sims for lunch:) But I built it about 6 months ago. Systems are probably better off now if you're willing to spend that money. But looking at the line of ASUS. As a they were considering ... I would not recommend Dell unless you do a lot of research and specifications are out the way you want. Dell does not is known for bringing together the best is based, in terms of powerful components. They usually offer great deals and cut corners. Sony VAIO are attractive, but too expensive IMO. Apple ... Well, it's a MAC. Some people prefer MAC. Again, I think they are too expensive and is limited in what you can play on it.
