Sony to Dell - Sony is worth the extra $ $?
I reduced my laptop hunting two models: Sony Vaio Cw21fx ($ 800-850) or a Dell Inspiron 1464 series ($ 600, on sale). Both have similar specs: 14.1''screen, Core i3-330M, 4GB DDR3 RAM, 500 GB SATA, Windows 7, etc. The series CW has some "extras": a dedicated graphics card, Gigabit Ethernet, a Firewire port, Bluetooth, HDMI output, B / G / N Wireless (Dell has a "mini half g-card "). I have no doubt that the Vaio is a" best "system, but my question is ... is $ 250 more? will last longer? Is really worth the extra money? Additional features of hand (as I do not really need bluetooth, HDMI, etc), it is still worth paying $ 250 to have a Sony system through a Dell? Thanks in advance for your comments and opinions --- This laptop will not be used for the game, single standard personal work (Firefox, Word, Excel, iTunes), and perform multiple tasks with Photoshop / Dreamweaver / InDesign, etc.
As a laptop and a service center more new laptops from Sony for repair than any other brand that says it all. Recently, Sony seems to have lost its way when it comes to quality control and quality of construction, a few years ago you would have to say that Sony built a better and worth paying extra, these days I would not say that. That said, the Sony with a dedicated graphics card to perform multiple tasks in particular with the best Photoshop with a huge chunk of resources in the performance. Is it worth worth the extra 250 just for that, no.
