Vertical Line LCD SONY VGN-SZ110 laptop?
I bought a Sony Vaio Vgn-SZ110 laptop on 31 May. This morning I realized LCD display shows 1 vertical line that changed colors from yellow, white, and sometimes a different shade of blue. The line that appears and disappears intermittently for about an hour. At this point, the line is no longer visible. The laptop comes with a 90 day factory warranty (parts / labor work). Can anyone let me know if this is a serious problem that I sent to Sony for service or is a minor problem that is common on all laptops? Someone please help. Thanks in advance.
It is a relatively "normal" problem for all LCD screens for minor defects. I would say that it takes again as I still can, because you go crazy otherwise. I had a stuck pixel on my LCD TV and we had to talk the type of store in the exchange because its policy (BestBuy also told me that was the policy of the major computer manufacturers) is that there must be something like 6 pixels separately bad for them to recover. It is considered a "normal" for one or two of them to be bad. Pffft say!
