HDMI - Laptop to TV - no sound. I tried everything .. I think.?

hey whats up, I have a Sony Vaio Laptop that I just Installing Windows Home Premium 7, and a Samsung flat screen you just bought. The image is good with the HDMI cable, but I can not get any sound, I used to work when it had Windows Vista. Many people say in the forums to try to establish their default sound or digital HD or whatever in the sound menu, but the only thing in my sound menu of portable speakers, nothing else appears. I tried every kind of close the program, and turning on the TV, reboot, etc. at all combinations known to man. Does anyone have any idea? thanks No, sounds too, which used to work when I was having, so I thought it was a software sort of thing with 7 or something, but I know it used to work, so I think we still can ... somehow.

many / most / Some laptops HDMI output not Ike sound audio / video components and do. you can get a converter to fix cyberguys.com sources as this ... The possibility is also not the audio driver for the HDMI interface also installed ... look at your device manager in the properties.
